hey, we're rentgara
we believe stuff shouldn't sit idle. if your neighbor has a drill collecting dust and you need one for the weekend — why buy a new one?
access is better than ownership. one item shared between ten people means nine less things manufactured, shipped, and eventually thrown away.
we dream of a Nepal where every household earns from what they already have, and nobody has to buy things they'll barely use. less waste, more sharing, stronger neighborhoods.
how it started
it started with a simple frustration: buying a drill for one weekend project, then watching it collect dust for years. or renting an expensive camera from a shop when your neighbor had the same one sitting unused.
we realized that in every neighborhood, there are people who need things temporarily and people who have those exact things sitting idle. rentgara bridges that gap.
today, we connect thousands of Nepalis — from students renting cameras for projects to families renting camping gear for Dashain trips. every rental is money saved, waste reduced, and a connection made.
what matters to us
500+ things shared across 15+ cities by 2000+ people who'd rather share than own.
come, be part of the sharing.
