be honest, treat others well, and don't do anything illegal. we connect renters with owners — we're not responsible for what happens between you, but we'll help if there's a problem. pretty straightforward, right?
1 acceptance of terms
by using rentgara, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, that's okay — but you shouldn't use the service. no hidden tricks here.
2 what rentgara is
we're a peer-to-peer rental marketplace. we connect people who have stuff with people who need stuff. we facilitate the transaction, but the rental agreement is between you and the other person. we're the matchmaker, not the landlord.
3 your account
to use rentgara, you need to:

be at least 18 years old -
provide accurate information (no fake names or details) -
keep your login secure (don't share it) -
complete ID verification for transactions
4 your responsibilities
if you're listing items:

only list items you actually own or have permission to rent -
be honest about condition — no hiding damage -
keep items safe and working properly -
honor your confirmed bookings
if you're renting:

use items responsibly — don't be careless -
return on time and in the same condition -
report any damage immediately (accidents happen) -
pay what you agreed to pay
5 payments & fees
we charge a small service fee on each transaction — that's how we keep the lights on. all payments go through our secure platform (eSewa, Khalti, etc.). owners get paid after the rental completes successfully.
6 cancellation policy
cancellation terms vary by listing — check before you book. generally, free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. we may keep service fees for late cancellations.
7 our liability
we're a platform that connects people. we're not responsible for item condition, user behavior, or disputes — but we will help mediate if things go wrong. you rent and list at your own risk, but we've got your back.
8 changes to terms
we might update these terms occasionally. if we make big changes, we'll let you know. continuing to use rentgara means you accept the new terms.
